The Engine Control Unit (ECU), controls a series of actuators on an internal combustion engine to ensure optimum running. It does this by reading values from a multitude of sensors within the engine bay, interpreting the data using multidimensional performance maps and adjusting the engine actuators accordingly.

On-board diagnostics, or OBD, is an automotive term referring to a vehicle's self-diagnostic and reporting capability. The OBD system gives your repair technician access to state of health information for various vehicle sub-systems and can help us identify problems before they start to cause damage to your engine.
We can also reset lights that are triggered on your dashboard once the vehicle has been successfully inspected.
